BEL AIR, Md. - Michael Gisriel's 9th-minute goal secured a winning campaign for the Fighting Owls, as they wrapped up their 2021 regular season with a 1-0 victory over the Anne Arundel Riverhawks, Tuesday evening inside Harford Stadium.
Reggie King set up the score for Harford, drilling a through ball overtop of the Anne Arundel defense to find Gisriel. The Bel Air native collected the pass, cut over to his right and fired a low driven shot into the bottom left corner of the net for the only goal of the game.
The Fighting Owl defense picked up their fourth clean sheet of the year, allowing the Riverhawks just 11 chances for the game. Sophomore
Ben Florio (2-2) got the start and picked up the win, stopping all eight shots on goal.
Harford ends the regular season at 6-4.
