BEL AIR, Md. - The Fighting Owls returned to their winning ways on Tuesday, defeating the Catonsville Cardinals 15-0 inside the Harford Sports Complex.
Harford's 15-0 win is its largest victory since the Fighting Owls defeated Manor 16-0 almost four years to the day (September 16, 2017). The women in blue recorded 65 shots last night, tying for the second most in program history. Harford also did not surrender a single shot for the first time since October 9, 2018.
Nine different Fighting Owls scored on Tuesday night, led by a quartet of goals from
Lauren Westbrook.
Sarah Barnes finished with three scores on the day, while
Rylee Kluge picked up a pair of her own.
Harford also had six players with one goal, all of which are the first of their collegiate careers:
Abbey Coscia,
Lauren Puntanen,
Amanda Moeller,
Izzy Williams,
Kamrin Gravitte, and
Lexy Balsamo.
With the win, Harford is now 3-2 in 2021.
