BEL AIR, Md. - Harford women's soccer took its first draw of 2021 on Thursday, tying 0-0 with the Potomac State Catamounts.
The Fighting Owls dominated long stretches of the game but never capitalized on their 37 shots, 21 of which fell on net.
Sarah Barnes led the way with eight shots on target.
Rain played a major factor for most of the second half and both overtime periods. Potomac State made four big saves in the final 13 minutes of regulation, then two more in each period of overtime to survive with a draw.
Harford survived a couple late pushes by the Catamounts thanks to
Becky Brittell (three saves) and the rest of the Fighting Owls defense.
Harford is 3-2-1 with today's result.
