ROCKVILLE, Md. - A quartet of Fighting Owls recorded three hits each en route to a 9-2 victory over the Montgomery Raptors.
Harford tallied 17 hits and eight extra base knocks, both of which are season highs.
Jess Bouthet finished a double short of the cycle after going 3-for-4 with a home run and a triple.
Kaitlyn Delaney ended the day with two doubles and two RBI and
Emily Curry matched her. Rounded out the group was
Lena Wondolowski, who finished with a double and one RBI as a part of her three-hit day.
Bouthet broke a 2-2 deadlock in the fifth, slamming a solo homer to put Harford ahead. A sac fly from
Mackenzie Burton doubled the Fighting Owls advantage an inning later. Harford closed out the contest with its best inning of the day, scoring five runs in the seventh to seal the deal.
Alyssa McLaughlin (2-3) put together a strong performance, striking out seven Raptors to secure the victory.
