BEL AIR, Md. - A three-run blast to center sealed a comeback win for Harford, as the Fighting Owls plated six runs in the final two innings to defeat the Monroe College Mustangs on Tuesday afternoon.
After surrendering the lead to Monroe in the top of the sixth, Harford would win it back on a trio of RBI singles that plated three. The lead proved to be short lived as the Mustangs pulled in front once more on a sac fly, RBI single and a wild pitch.Â
Trailing by two entering the final frame, the Fighting Owls quickly put a pair of runners on to start the inning. Monroe elected to change pitchers in an attempt to hold off Harford, but
Jeremiah Guzman stepped up and sent a ball spiraling over the centerfield wall for the walk-off victory.
Harford stands at 21-4 after the win.
