BEL AIR, Md. - The Fighting Owls mercy ruled the Jefferson Cannoneers in game one, as
Mackenzie Burton's shutout highlighted a 12-0 victory on Wednesday.
Burton tossed five scoreless innings which included five strikeouts and no walks. Despite giving up eight hits, she forced the Cannoneers to strand nine runners. Burton's shutout is Harford's first since April 10, 2018.
Harford delivered at the plate as well, with four Fighting Owls finishing with at least two hits.
Emily Curry led the way with two doubles while
Jess Bouthet,
