NEWARK, De. – On Saturday the Fighting Owls traveled to Delaware Technical Community College for their second matchup of the season, and returned home with their second victory.
Kenny Moore led the scoring with 16 points, followed closely by
Paul Mason who also contributed 8 rebounds and 2 blocks. Mason's 15 points, highlighted by 4 dunks, is a season high for the Temple Hills Freshman and rounds out a three-game streak of double-digit scoring.
Malik Carson contributed 14 points and 10 rebounds to the victory, his third double-double on the season.
Jahsiah Lamothe also tallied 14 points, 12 of those coming from a strong second half performance. As a team, the Fighting Owls went 23-28 from the line, their second-highest percentage (.821) since they capitalized on 8 of 9 from the charity stripe against Monroe in November. Harford also out-rebounded Del Tech 41-29, their third-best effort on the season.
The Fighting Owls stand at 8-7 (3-3 in MD JUCO) after the weekend.
