BEL AIR, MD - The Fighting Owls lost to the Monroe Mustangs in straight sets last night after winning 13 straight. The contest drew roughly 150 fans during the "white out" and displayed a very competitive level of NJCAA volleyball.

Gianna Braxton contributed 3 blocks to the team's defensive effort. Monroe ended the night with a .444 scoring percentage after a powerful third set performance of .600.
The Fighting Owls return to action tonight as they travel to Anne Arundel for a conference matchup with the Riverhawks.
