WASHINGTON, D.C. - Harford earned two more sweeps for the season after defeating Mid-Atlantic Christian Univeristy and Trinity Washington University in straight sets. The Fighting Owls are 20-3 on the year and 8-0 in conference play after the weekend.
As it stands,
Laura Piva currently leads the Fighitng Owls offense on the year with 212 kills, followed by
Kaja Szuba with 127.
Morgan Barnett has accumulated 420 assists on the season, and also leads the team in service aces with 83.
Julia Hudson is currently leading the team with 205 digs, and
Gianna Braxton has earned 52 blocks to secure the Harford defense.
Those numbers have helped Harford to the 2nd best average in service aces per set (3.63) and the 5th best total service aces (272) in all of NJCAA Division II volleyball.Â
Next up, the Fighting Owls head to Monroe College to face the Mustangs for the third time this season.
