NORTH EAST, MD - The Fighting Owls roll into their Thanksgiving break with a 5-game win streak after defeating the Cecil Seahawks 99-62. The two programs have traded wins historically, but Harford has found themselves on top in their past two meetings. Harford improves to 6-2 on the year, while Cecil falls to 3-4.
Chandler Johnson lead the scoring for Harford with 19 points.
Paul Mason would contribute 14 points, 4 steals, 4 blocks, and 3 rebounds to the win.
Terry Long earned his season-high 14 points.
Ty Williams did the defensive work contributing 7 steals and 5 rebounds, while also adding 10 points to the stats sheet. Williams currently averages 16 PPG and has scored double-digit points in every contest this season.Â
As a team, Harford shot 53% from the floor, and 45% from three-point range. The Fighting Owls capitalized on 33 points off turnovers, and 40 bench points. Upon taking the lead at the beginning of the game, it was never relinquished.Â
