NEW ROCHELLE, NY - The Monroe Mustangs upended the Fighting Owls in a dominating performance over the weekend, winning by a score of 109-32. Harford has not produced a win against Monroe since 2019. 

Ball control was the casualty of the contest with Harford committing a season-high 51 turnovers. The Mustangs would capitalize on 57 points off turnovers, compared to Harford's 10. Monroe's defense would apply pressure throughout the contest, ultimately limiting the Fighting Owls to two single-digit scoring quarters. Marie Bangoura would lead the team with 9 points, going 3-12 from the floor and 3-4 from free throws. As a team, the Fighting Owls would attempt just 5 shots from three-point range, a season low.
