BEL AIR, Md. – The Fighting Owls earned their 13
th win of the season tonight against the Potomac State Catamounts in a 93-84 victory. There was no lead change in the game after Harford scored the first 7 points of the contests, however Potomac State did manage to pull within one halfway into the second period.
Jahsiah Lamothe took charge of the scoring for Harford, ending the contest with 26 points on 11 of 17, a season high for the Sophomore guard on all accounts. He also collected 5 steals and contributed to the team's 16 fast-break points. The Carson twins would also contribute their fair share to the victory.
Maseo Carson racked up 16 points and 4 rebounds while
Malik Carson finished with 12 and 7.
As a team, Harford accumulated 25 assists and shot 53% from the floor, both season highs. They also doubled the Catamounts second chance points, making the most of their offensive rebounds. The Fighting Owls bench managed 38 points compared to Potomac's 2, a punctuation mark on an all-around team effort.
Only 5 contests remain in the regular season, three of which are against conference opponents.
