BEL AIR, MD - Harford moves to 5-0-1 in conference after defeating the College of Southern Maryland Hawks by a score of 2-0. Both goals came in the second half of the contest after an evenly matched first period.
10 cards were issed in the contest with 4 going to Harford and 6 to Southern Maryland. Two yellows resulted in a man-down situation for the Hawks in the 53rd minute of play, and ultimately opened up the contest for the Fighting Owls to capitalize.
Mikel Iniesta would find the net in the 61st minute, and
Guilherme De Lima Sousa would add to the lead just 2 minutes later. Overall, Harford would outshoot the Hawks 22-15 and force 11 saves by the Southern Maryland keeper. Corners favored Harford as well by a tally of 5-2. Fouls were distributed evenly with each team being whistled 16 times throughout the contest.
