Box Score BEL AIR, MD - Harford men's basketball hosted Chesapeake in an MDJUCO conference battle on Wednesday night at APGFCU arena. The Owls were in control most of the game, and were able to come away with their first win of the 2024 calander year. Harford improves to 10-8 after the win, while Chesapeake falls to 8-9.
The scoring was spread out for the Fighting Owls with four players finishing in double figures, three off which coming off the bench.
Jadyn Williams, the lone Harford starter in double figures, was at the controls for the Owls most of the evening. Harford's leading scorer finished the night with 12 points and a season high 8 rebounds to go with it. Harford's bench was very productive, combining for 37 points from non-starters, notably 11 points each from
Nate Lacey and
Ricardo Ross, as well as 10 from
Jordan Butler. The Owls also worked hard down low, collecting 34 points in the paint.
Next up, the Fighting Owls will host Anne Arundel in another MDJUCO conference doubleheader on January 24th.
