PLANO, TX - The Harford Men's Tennis team sent six individuals to compete in singles and doubles play at the NJCAA National Tournament held at Collin College in Texas. 

Singles

Tristan Duval competed in the #1 Singles Flight, losing his first match to Minjae Kim 1-6, 1-6. He entered the consolation bracket and won his next three matches 8-1, 8-3, and 8-1. He conceded the consolation final by walkover against #4 Victor Alves.

Lucas Fox competed in the #2 Singles Flight, winning his first match against Dwayne Daarol 3-6, 6-3, 6-2. He lost his second match in the Round of 16 to #1 Gabriel Garay 3-6, 2-6 and was eliminated from play.

Adrian Weisser entered the Round of 32 in the #3 Singles Flight, losing his first round match to Francisco Miguel 5-7, 5-7. He lost his consolation quarter-final matchup 2-8 to Jack Semper.

Unai Llerena Perez competed in the #4 Singles Flight, losing his first match to Franco Vedda 4-6, 6-4, 2-6. He won his next two consolation matches 8-3, and 8-2, but conceded the semi-final by walkover against Cade Teeple.

Martin Puetate competed in the #5 Singles Flight, winning his first match against Isaac James 6-0, 6-2. He was eliminated from competition after losing his Round of 16 match to Faiz Nasyam 0-6, 0-6.

Aaron Gerald entered the Round of 32 in the #6 Singles Flight, losing his first match to #7 Benjamin Ranby-Al 0-6, 0-6. After winning his first consolation match 8-4, he advanced through the quarter-finals by walkover, and conceded the consolation semi-final to Ben Orr by walkover.

Doubles 

Lucas Fox and Adrian Weisser competed in the #1 Doubles Flight, losing their first match 1-6, 2-6 to #7 Charlie Brady and Matias Ruiz. They lost their consolation Round of 32 match 4-8 to Carlos Adrian Alcala and Nick Velders.

Tristan Duval and Unai Llerena Perez entered the Round of 32 in the #2 Doubles Flight, winning their first match 6-2, 6-1 against Evan Bernales and Lukas Januskis. They were eliminated from competition after losing 6-4, 4-6, 6-7 to #8 Antonin Leborne and Zachary Riley.

Aaron Gerald and Martin Puetate competed in the #3 Doubles Flight, winning their first match against Tate Baucum and Luke Bruntlett 6-3, 6-4. They were eliminated from competition after losing to #1 Alejandro Gonzalez and Omar Suarez 1-6, 2-6.


As a team, the Harford Men end the year ranked #22 overall and #6 in Region IV by ITA. Tristan Duval ends the year ranked #33 overall, #9 (singles) in Region IV, and #10 (doubles) in Region IV. Lucas Fox ends the year at #46 overall, #10 (singles) in Region IV, and #8 (doubles) in Region IV. Unai Llerena Perez ends the year at #22 (singles) in Region IV, and #10 (doubles) in Region IV. Adrian Weisser ends the year at #14 (singles) in Region IV, and #8 (doubles) in Region IV.
