Will Thomas enters his second year as the Fighting Owls assistant men's basketball coach.

Prior to Harford, Thomas served as the assistant at Howard Community College for two seasons, including the 2013-14 season with Smelkinson. Prior to his time at Howard, he coached the New Town High School's JV basketball team.

Coach Thomas specializes in recruiting quality players, maintaining an organized basketball system, developmental programs, and coaching younger players. 

In addition to his coaching success, Coach Thomas played for Grays Harbor College during his freshman season before moving on to Seattle Pacific where he played for two seasons. In his spare time he is an IAABO Board 12 referee.
