Craig Campbell enters his 6th season as an assistant with the Fighting Owls Men’s Lacrosse Team.
Prior to joining the Fighting Owls, Campbell spent 25 years coaching high school boys’ lacrosse in the state of Maryland. He served seven seasons as defensive coordinator at Fallston High School. In that time the Cougars won four state championships (2012-14, '16); five regional championships (2012-14, 2016-17); and were region finalists in 2015 and 2018.
Campbell spent 18 seasons at Pikesville High School. In his nine seasons as head coach, Pikesville won two State Championships (2004, 2009), three regional championships (2004-05, and 2009); and were Regional finalists in 2006, 2007, 2008, 2010, and 2011. Coach Campbell was named Maryland State Co-Coach of the Year in 2009 and Baltimore County Coach of the Year in 2003 & 2009. Prior to his head coaching stint, he spent nine seasons as an assistant coach and defensive coordinator for Pikesville teams that won the 2001 State Championship, Regional Championships in 2001 & 2002, and were Regional finalists in 1996.
Coach Campbell also served as an assistant coach for the Baltimore Bayhawks of the MLL from 2001-2006, winning World Championships in 2002 & 2005. As well as advancing to the league finals in 2001 & 2003.
Campbell resides in Fallston, with his wife, Danica, and three children, Barrett, Everett, and Keira. The Harford ties are strong…Barrett was an All-MAC defenseman at Lebanon Valley College, before serving as an Asst. Coach with Harford. Everett is a former Fighting Owls' defenseman, who now plays at Limestone University. Keira currently competes as a member of the Harford Women’s Lacrosse team.
