Ryan Cummings returns for his second season as an assistant to the place where he began his career. Cummings works with the defense.

Cummings played in all 33 contests as a Fighting Owl defender, helping Harford amass a 16-17 record from 2011-12 under former coach Hugh Donovan. In his sophomore season, Cummings recorded 31 groundballs while forcing 25 turnovers and adding one assist.

After Harford, he continued his athletic and academic career at the University of Mount Olive, an NCAA Division II school in North Carolina. He played in six contests and during his senior season, the Trojans went 13-3, reaching the Conference Carolinas Tournament Championship Game.

Cummings earned his bachelor's degree in criminal justice from Mount Olive in 2014.
