Harford Community College Athletics

Hewitt moves into her second season as lead assistant for the Harford volleyball program under head coach Will Wheeler. In 2015, she helped the team in 19 games.

Hewitt is no strange to Harford Athletics after starring in two sports in her Fighting Owl career. She was the libero in 2011 and 2012 for the Region XX Champions in volleyball and she was a midfielder on the lacrosse team in 2012 and 2013, reaching the NJCAA Final Four in her sophomore season.

She assists Wheeler in all aspects of the coaching position, including recruiting, game strategies, practice plans and other duties.

After Harford, Hewitt continued her academic and athletic career at Wilmington University from 2013-15, playing lacrosse. She totaled 100 goals in her collegaite career (51 at Wilmington and 49 at Harford). In volleyball, Hewitt ranks 10th on the school's all-time digs chart with 270. She led the 2011 team with 156 digs as a freshman.
