Pashuck Tosses Second No-Hitter Of March

ROCKVILLE, Md. - For the second time in 13 days, freshman Jamie Pashuck tossed a no-hitter for the Harford baseball team. The lefthander held Rockville without a hit in the second game of a Fighting Owl doubleheader sweep. Harford won 11-0 (6) and 11-1 (5).

The doubleheader sweep gave the Fighting Owls their seventh win in a row and 18th win out of their last 20 contests. Harford is now 21-6 and 6-2 in conference play.

Pashuck struck out seven batters and walked four in his second career no-hitter. The lone run Rockville scored came in the first inning on an error, a wild pitch and a passed ball. The Knight runner scored from second on the passed ball.

Pashuck tossed a no-hitter against Massachusetts Bay in an 11-0 victory. He has allowed just one hit in six appearances this year, including two starts.

In game one, Taylor Nelson and Jack Hine combined to hold Rockville to just two hits in the 11-0 win. Nelson earned the win in four innings, holding the Knights to just one hit and striking out five. Hine came in relief and struck out four in two innings, allowing one hit.

Offensively, Simon Beloff went 2-for-3 with a triple, a double and a walk, while Nick Octavi had a two-run triple and an RBI fielder's choice in game one. In game two, Jonathan Castro had two hits. James Wilson went 5-for-6 in both games combined.

The Fighting Owls travel to Cecil on Tuesday for a single conference contest at 3:30 p.m.
