Karley BushMELBOURNE, Fla. - Seeding and game schedules were announced for next week's 2014 NJCAA Division I National Tournament and the Harford women's soccer team earned the No. 9 seed of the 12-team field. The Fighting Owls will play Monday and Tuesday in Melbourne, Fla.

clicking this link. Harford was placed in Pool D along with No. 4 Otero Junior College (13-1-2) and No. 5 Navarro College (14-4-1). The Fighting Owls will play Otero on Monday at 1 p.m. and Navarro on Tuesday at 1 p.m.
The Otero Lady Rattlers won the Region IX Championship on penalty kicks over Laramie County on Sunday in Thornton, Colo. Their only loss of the season came in August against No. 1 Iowa Western, 4-0. The Rattlers are led in scoring by Aleyona Hunter's 10 goals, Thalya Dwyer's nine goals and eight assists and McKenna Schmitt's eight and eight. No other student-athlete has more than five goals, but their defense has been stellar en route to a 14-match unbeaten streak. Sophomore Marisa Brown owns a 1.14 goals-against average and Otero has allowed zero or one goal in 12 of their 16 contests this year.
The Navarro Bulldogs earned National Runner-Up last year and advanced to this year's tournament with a 3-0 victory over Eastern Oklahoma on Saturday in Tonkawa, Okla. in the District I Championshop Match. The Bulldogs lost three-straight contests in the middle of the season and then righted the ship to win eight consecutive matches to advance to back-to-back National Tournaments. Sophomore Trudi Carter ranks fourth in the nation with 27 goals and her freshman teammate Nicole Broderick chips in with 11 goals on the year. Shanise Foster and Melina Prado added 12 and 11 assists, respectively. Kenia Medina played every second in goal for the Bulldogs with a 1.03 GAA and 99 saves.
The Fighting Owls defeated Southern Maryland in the Region XX Championships and then rallied to drop Spartanburg Methodist in the District L Championship, 3-2, behind three-straight second half goals.
Karley Bush ranks eighting in the nation with 25 goals and she netted the game-winner in Spartanburg, S.C. on Saturday.
Nicole Wojcik, who assisted on the game-winner, ranks second on the team with 18 goals and 10 assists while
Savannah Humphreys chipped in with 18 goals and eight helpers.
Brooke Nigrin leads the conference and ranks 13th in the nation with 14 assists. In the back,
Ashley King has played in goal all season, owning a 0.96 GAA and
Angela Kuhn has helped stabalize the back row with her defensive game while netting eight goals and seven assists.
