YORK, Pa. - The Harford men's basketball team (5-3) lost a road game to Penn State-York on Monday, 70-67. The Fighting Owls outshot and outrebounded the NCAA Division III school but dropped the close contest.
Sophomore
Malachi Seney led Harford with 20 points while
Jon Warren chipped in with 18 on 8-of-16 shooting. Sophomore
Jordan Lilly again provided a spark off the bench with 11 points.
Will Jackson got his first start at Harford and pulled in a game-high 13 rebounds.
Harford finished the contest with an advantage on the floor (41.8 percent to 35.1 percent) and on the glass (41-37), but the Nittany Lions held a large advantage at the free throw line (21-for-27 to 11-for-13).
Harford hosts Baltimore City on Dec. 2 in a Region XX doubleheader, with the women's game beginning at 5 p.m.
