ARNOLD, Md. - After a dominant first half, the Harford men's basketball team (7-3, 2-3 MD JUCO) held on for a 71-65 conference road win against Anne Arundel on Saturday.
Davonte Williams and
Fadil Robinson were dominant in the victory.
Williams earned his first start of the season and continued his hot play with a career-high 18 points and 12 rebounds. The sophomore guard was 6-of-10 from the floor, added a team-high four assists and earned his first career double-double.
Robinson has also been on a role in recent contests and recorded his third double-double of the season, and second consecutive with 17 points and 11 boards. Both Robinson and Williams nabbed four offensive caroms each.
Aaron McDonald, making his first career start, scored 13 points and handed out three helpers while
Cedric Hines scored 10 markers with three assists.Â
The Fighting Owls took a 41-25 lead into the break and were forced to hold off a late Riverhawk run.Â
