  • The Short Story: The Harford men's basketball won their second straight conference game, holding on for a tough fought 73-67 victory over the Frederick Cougars.

HOW IT HAPPENED
  • Isaiah White had a monster game as he dropped 20 points on 6-11 shooting and 7-8 from the charity line as he attacked the Cougars rim throughout the contest.
  • Teammate Aaron McDonald did most of his damage from outside of the paint as he shot 3-8 from behind the arc.
  • Micah Till was a warrior inside with 14 points and 7 rebounds while also providing 4 assists and stout defense in the paint.
  • Jalen Thompson pulled down 13 rebounds while also adding 8 points and constantly fought in the trenches for Harford.
  • Dom Keyes provided the biggest spark of the game with a monster slam dunk to energize the arena early in the first half as it gave Harford their largest lead of the game at 17.
  • The Cougars went on a run mid-way through the second half to make it a close game, but Harford held on to move back on top of the conference standings.

GAME NOTES
  • The Fighting Owls did a lot of damage at the free throw line as they went 23-34 with charity shots.
  • Harford did not have their best shooting day with a 34% field goal percentage and just 4-18  from behind the arc. 
  • With the victory, Harford moves to 2-0 in conference play as they are tied in first with Catonsville.

UP NEXT
  • The Fighting Owls will stay home to continue their conference schedule against Howard on Monday, November 21st at 7 pm.
  • Howard is 1-2 on the season and 0-2 for the conference after having lost to Catonsville and Southern Maryland in conference play.
