HOW IT HAPPENED
  • Harford jumped out to a 14-0 lead to start the game on their way to a 60-22 halftime score and never looking back, leading by as much as 45 in the game.
  • The big difference in the game was the size and strength advantage of the Fighting Owls, scoring 62 points in the paint while also out-rebounding the Dragons all night long.
  • Isaiah White once again led the Fighting Owls in points with 21 on 9-10 shooting.
  • Juanir Moore had his most impressive game of the season with 12 points on 5-6 shooting, four of which were dunks including one sequence with back-to-back dunks sandwiching a monster block.
  • Martin Kelly scored a season high 13 points and also grabbed 5 steals in a complete performance for the wing player.
  • Starting forwards Micah Till and Jalen Thompson continued to perform their roles admirably with Till scoring 12 points and Thompson grabbing 9 rebounds along with 5 assists as they are both thriving in coach Smelkinson's system.

GAME NOTES
  • Harford's defense kept the Dragons to a 32% field goal percentage while also forcing 34 turnovers from the visitors.
  • Conversely, Harford shot 54% thanks largely to the previously mentioned proclivity in the paint.
  • As has been the case four other times this season, the entire Harford team saw action in the game with 14 of the 15 players scoring points.

UP NEXT
  • Harford will rest for the Thanksgiving break before traveling to Southern Maryland on Wednesday, November 30th for a 7 pm game.
  • The Southern Maryland Hawks are 1-5 on the season and 1-1 in conference having beaten Howard and lost to Garrett.
