GAME QUOTES AND NOTES
  • Head Coach Mike Smelkinson: "It was a tough loss against a very good Chipola team. We didn't compete the way I wanted and our shot selection was horrible. We will go back and look at the film to get better.
  • Guard Aaron McDonald: "It's a disappointing loss for us. I thought that we came out and competed early on but we got tired and gave up. That leaves a sour taste in my mouth. We will learn from this and bounce back to get stronger."
  • Forward Juanir Moore: "We didn't play like we are capable. But the good thing is we have a chance to fix this tomorrow against another good team."
  • Harford shot just 28% from the floor including a 2-24 performance from behind the arc.
  • The Fighting Owls defense did force 19 turnovers with 10 steals.
  • Conversely, Chipola shot 53% from the floor with five different players in double-digit scoring.
