HOW IT HAPPENED
  • The Fighting Owls had a big size advantage in the game, getting the ball to forward Micah Till early and often. Till scored 20 points in the game, leading all Harford players for the second straight game.
  • With the outcome rarely in doubt, the game became more of a dunk contest for Harford as Till and Dom Keyes both slammed multiple alley-oops to an entertained crowd.
  • With Isaiah White on the sideline, point guard Trent McCallum was handed his first start of the season and took advantage with 8 points and 8 assists along with 4 steals.
  • Malik Jones continues to impress as he has been earning more minutes every game. The freshman guard scored a season high 16 points on 7-10 shooting along with 6 rebounds, 3 assists, and 3 steals.

GAME NOTES
  • With the win, the Harford basketball teams have a combined 20-1 record in the 2016-17 season.
  • Three-point shooting was an issue for Harford as they shot just 2-15 from long range
  • The Fighting Owls led by as much as 38 points mid-way through the second half before clearing out the bench.
  • Micah Till has scored in double-digits in nine of Harford's ten games this season and is averaging 16.6 points per game.
  • Dom Keyes scored a season high 14 points in the game on 7-8 shooting from the floor.

UP NEXT
  • Harford will hop on the bus to New York City to take on the Monroe College Mustangs on Tuesday, December 6th at 7:30 PM.
  • Monroe is 7-3 on the season with two of the losses coming to Maryland opponents Allegany and Baltimore City; both of which ended in overtime.
