BEL AIR, Md. - The Harford men's tennis team remained unbeaten with three victories at home. The Fighting Owls topped Goucher 8-1 and swept St. Mary's and Salem International.
Harford 9, Salem 0The Fighting Owls breezed through the match, opening with a doubles sweep with scores of 8-0, 8-1 and 8-0. At No. 1 singles,
Breno de Paula Lodi played the toughest match of the day, winning 6-4, 6-3.
Harford 9, St. Mary's 0Pablo Safont Ferrer earned player of the match with his battle at No. 4 singles. After straining a muscle earlier in the day, the freshman played well to earn a 6-1, 6-0 win.
Harford 8, Goucher 1The Fighting Owls knocked off Goucher in a match much closer than the score indicated.
Tomas Eduardo Parra Pozo lost his first set of the season but rallied back for a three-set victory, including a 14-12 super tiebreaker.
Xavier Graells earned a pair of wins, at No. 3 singles and No. 2 doubles with Safont.
