HOW IT HAPPENED
  • Harford went on a 7-0 run early in the first set highlughted by four Savannah Meyers aces to vault the Fighting Owls into an insurmountable lead.
  • Madison Scarpulla and Julia Gatch picked up a couple of late kills in the set to stave off a Riverhawks comeback.
  • The second set started out with an 8-0 run for Harford and was closed out by a couple of Scarpulla aces in a very one-sided set.
  • Kendall Henderson and Olivia Manraksa led the Fighting Owls early in the third set then Meyers and Gatch were able to kill off the match as Harford won in just under an hour of play.
  • Kyning Tillinghast scored five kills and no errors on 12 attempts as she had a very efficient match.

UP NEXT
  • Harford will have their final conference match on Monday, October 16 as they travel to Hagerstown starting at 6 PM.
  • The Hawks are first in the conference with a 9-0 record and are 10-5 overall and have won 10 of their last 11 matches.
