 HOW IT HAPPENED
  • Harford started out the game struggling to get good possessions, but were able to still jump ahead with Khalil Williams-Diggins dropping five points early on to take an 11-10 lead six minutes into the game.
  • That would be the last lead Harford would enjoy in the game as Brookdale went on a 10-0 run before Malik Jones finally broke the four minute scoring drought with a three pointer.
  • Jones went on to hit another three later in the first half and led the team with 10 points at the break as the lone bright spot of an otherwise difficult first stanza.
  • The Fighting Owls trailed by as much as 20 in the second half before the full court press started to pay dividends with turnovers and easy baskets that saw Harford cut the Brookdale lead to just seven with a little over a minute left.
  • Brookdale was able to knock down there free throws in the end to close out the game despite Isaiah Boggs scoring 15 points in the second half with Karon Green adding 12 in the last 20 minutes.
