  • The Short Story: The Harford men's lacrosse team won their seventh straight game as they easily handled their Region 20 opponent from West Virginia.

HOW IT HAPPENED
  • The Fighting Owls were finally able to secure the first goal in a home game as they scored the first 10 goals of the game before conceding a goal with 10 seconds left in the first half.
  • Harford took their foot off the gas pedal in the second half as Potomac's Shane Thompson scored a hat trick.
  • Despite the final score, Harford truly dominated the game as they took 80 shots in the contest with the Catamounts goalie tallying 25 saves.
  • Harford's goalkeeper Adam Smith had a solid performance with 13 saves against 30 shots.
  • With the Fighting Owls light on depth in the game, it was the trio of Esser, Oberlin and Davenport who led the attack.
  • Nick Esser finished the game with five goals and four assists as he now leads the country in poits.
  • Chase Oberlin scored four goals and three assists with Kasey Davenport adding a hat trick and two assists.
  • Chris Parrott was a perfect 7-7 in face-offs and snagged three ground balls while his fellow FOGO Kyle Thomas was 10-17 with nine ground balls.
  • The Harford defense was fantastic as Stephen Hill caused six turnovers, Collin Beck caused five with seven ground balls, and Kevin Clapp added four caused turnovers.
