Fighting Owls Settle For Tie At Dundalk

HOW IT HAPPENED
  • The game was cut short in the bottom of the ninth inning due to darkness.
  • Shawn Nickels led off the top of the ninth with a solo home run to give Harford a 16-15 lead.
  • The top half of the inning was rendered moot when the game was called due to darkness because the Lions were not able to get their at-bat in.
  • Harford jumped out to a 13-5 lead but were unable to hold onto it, giving up 10 runs combined in the fifth and sixth innings.
  • The Fighting Owls hit five home runs bringing their season total to 54 on the season. Peyton Sorrels (4), Tre Todd (7), Luke Johnson (11), Adam Rapp (4) and John Mastrangelo (5) all went yard in the contest.
UP NEXT:
  • Harford will host Chesapeake for a doubleheader Saturday, April 1st at noon in an Md Juco matchup. It will be Harford's first Region 20 Division I games of the season.
