HOW IT HAPPENED
  • After a suffering heart breaking losses in the extremely competitive tri-match with Northern Virginia and Cecil, Harford rebounded nicely on the road.
  • Sophomore Mary Greig, playing in her first match of the season, had a career high 13 kills to easily lead the team including six in the third set alone to go along with nine digs.
  • Madison Scarpulla tallied an incredible 12 aces in the match with five in the first set and another four in the final stanza.
  • Freshman Carly Wassil got some extended playing time in the match and led the team with 13 assists while defensive aces Leah Sanders and Allie Hallaymeyer each had double digit digs (14 and 11 respectively).
