Bel Air, Md. – The Fighting Owls once again used a monster second half to doom conference opposition, as their 49 second half points were enough to take down the Howard Dragons 86-75 on Wednesday night.
Much like their win against Garrett just eight days ago, Harford trailed slightly behind their opponent heading into the half. The men in blue took back the lead quickly in the second half, only to see Howard fight back and tie things at 60-60 with just over nine minutes left.
Harford took over for good after they began to attack the paint, combining
Anthony Peacock's excellent post play with mid-range jumpers from
Kenneth Sumpter and
Jaedon Willis. The Fighting Owls were rewarded for their aggressive attack trips to the charity strike, earning 23 free throws compared to Howard's four in the final 20 minutes. The men in blue soared to a double-digit lead with just under four minutes left to go, taking the will out of the Dragons en route to yet another conference victory.

- Jaedon Willis led Harford in scoring for the third straight game after a 21-point performance, including a 10-of-10 mark from the free throw line.
