Bel Air, Md. – The Fighting Owls gave the Harford faithful an early Christmas present in the form of a 93-85 win over the Harcum Bears, Wednesday night inside the APGFCU Arena.
This is the Fighting Owls men's basketball team's first win over Harcum in Harford's modern era of record keeping (2008 – Present).
Harford improves to 9-5 with the victory, while Harcum falls to 12-3.
Turning Point
Needing just a few points to take the lead in the final 20 minutes, Harford continually turned back Harcum's scoring surges with runs of their own to maintain their advantage throughout the second half.
Harcum's last push brought them within four points at the 3:43 mark in the second, but
Devin Smith would go on to score seven out of Harford's final 11 points to keep the Fighting Owls ahead when the buzzer sounded.

- Smith led all Harford players with 17 points in the contest.
- Anthony Peacock went a perfect 6-of-6 from the floor while pulling down six rebounds and blocking a pair of shots.

- Perry and Isaiah Boggs were menacing on defense, combining for 11 steals in the win.
