Bel Air, Md. – In a good test for the Fighting Owls, ASA came to town and was able to leave with a victory over Harford under controversial circumstances.
The match of the day was at the #1 doubles where the Fighting Owls duo of
John Brett and Antonio Le Gloan fought back to force a tiebreaker in a match that would prove to set the tone for the day. ASA was able to win the critical match by the narrowest of margins with line calls being an issue on both sides requiring coach involvement.
Controversy continued in the singles end where ASA appeared to stack their lineup with a weaker player at #1 thus allowing the other matches to be stacked in ASA's favor and allowing the Avengers to take the victory.
