  • The Short Story: The Fighting Owls rebounded from a tough stretch of games against top 5 nationally ranked opponents to blast the Union County Owls thanks in large part to a 10-point performance by Chandler Schmidt.

HOW IT HAPPENED
  • Harford came into the game needing to regain some momentum and confidence which is exactly what they did in a comfortable win in New Jersey.
  • Chandler Schmidt put on a show, scoring eight goals with two assists to lead the team with fellow attackman Reece Wiseman providing on many of those goals as he added two goals and six assists.
  • Eli Doyle scored five goals, Dylan Bielatowicz scored four, and Grady DiPeso joined the hat trick club with three.
  • Ja Nari Lee scored his second goal of the season late in the game as did defenseman Collin Beck along with his four ground balls and two caused turnovers on the defensive half of the field.
  • Shaun Vines led the team with seven ground balls and four caused turnovers with Nicholas Perrot and Austin Steubner matching the latter.
  • Face-off specialist Caleb Hippensteel went 13-19 in the circle with seven ground balls while goalkeepers Chris Stallings and Will Reeder combined to make nine saves.
UP NEXT
  • The Fighting Owls will return home to face #7 ranked Suffolk County on Saturday, April 21 at 2 PM.
  • The Sharks are an impressive 8-1 on the year and are pushing for a spot in the national tournament.
