Emmitsburg, Md. – The Harford men's tennis team took on Mount St. Mary's on Sunday, falling to The Mount 7-0 in their second straight match against NCAA Division I competition.
Mount St. Mary's picked up the doubles point on the day, earning the nod in all three matches. Harford's would not go away quietly in any of the contests, with each Fighting Owls pairing winning at least two points in their matches.
In #2 singles action, Antonio Le Gloan dropped his first set 6-1 only to battle back and win the second set 7-5 to force a tiebreaker. The Harford freshman, who defeated an NCAA Division I opponent in doubles play on Saturday, would eventually fall 10-6 in the third set.
The Fighting Owls next match will see them return home to face ASA on Tuesday, April 10 at 3:30 PM.
