How It Happened
  • Harford came out firing in their first set of the 2018 season and would go up 5-1 early on Harcum.
  • Katelyn Berger's two kills would bookend a four point burst to give Harford a 12-4 lead midway through the opening set.
  • The two teams would trade small rallies through the later stages of the first set before two more kills from Katelyn Berger and a block gave the ladies in blue a 25-13 victory
  • The Bears led 4-2 early in set two before Harford would win 10 out of the next 11 points to take 12-5 lead.
  • Harford would continue to roll on offense, closing out the second set on a 15-3 tear to give them a 25-8 win.
  • The Fighting Owls third set proved to be more of the same, going on several long runs on their way to a 25-12 win and a sweep of the Bears.
  • Fighting Owl freshman Katelyn Berger's seven kills topped all players on the afternoon. Sophomore Allison Hallameyer pounded through six service aces for the ladies in blue while fellow second-year standout Leah Sanders led the team defensively with her nine digs.
