Harford Blasts Allegany

Cumberland, Md. – The Fighting Owls swept a conference foe for the second time in three days, downing the Allegany Trojans in straight sets (25-10, 25-10, 25-18) on Thursday.

The victory elevates Harford (7-7, 4-3 Md Juco) back to the .500 mark on the season. They also hold a winning record in conference play for the first time in 2018. The Trojans (0-9, 0-3 Md Juco) remain winless in 2018.

Game Summaries
Set 1: 
Harford's offense rolled through the first set with ease, racking up 13 kills on their way to a 25-10 set victory. Kayla Reiswig led the way for the Fighting Owls with five kills and two aces, while Faith Hill and Rebecca Moen combined for 10 assists in the opener.

Set 2: 
The ladies in blue had a more balanced attack in set two, with Moen, Maria Lopez and Katelyn Berger combining for six kills. Harford's defense went relatively unchallenged once again as the team cruised to another 25-10 set victory.

Set 3
The Trojans showed fight in the third set but Harford proved to be too much on the day, earning a 25-18 third set win and a sweep of Allegany.
