BRYN MAWR, Pa. – Despite producing Harford's best offensive performance of the season, the Fighting Owls dropped their third straight contest, losing 94-87 to the Richard Bland Statesmen on Saturday afternoon.
Six Fighting Owls finished with at least 10 points, led
David Glenn's double-double (20 points and 10 rebounds). Glenn's five assists tied him for the team lead with
Christian Sweazie, who slotted behind him with 18 points.
Harford slips to 0-3 after the loss.
Turning Point
The officiating crew would have their say throughout the contest, calling for fouls early and often on both teams. A brutal stretch during the second half saw 14 fouls (seven per team) whistled in the opening 10 minutes. A 7-0 run from Richard Bland after the horrific start to the half gave the Statesmen the final lead of the contest, while Harford saw three starters drop after fouling out.

When the dust settled, Richard Bland and Harford combined for nearly 50 fouls.
