Harford Falters Late Against Allegany

Bel Air, Md. – Harford dropped their second conference game in a row Monday night at the hands of the Allegany, who relied on a monster second half to escape with an 85-80 victory.

The Fighting Owls led 44-28 at halftime, but were outscored by the Trojans 57-36 in the final 20 minutes, who made over 50% of their shots compared to Harford's 33.3% mark during this stretch.

Harford falls to 13-10 (8-4 Md Juco) with loss, while Allegany's record bumps up to 13-9 (9-3 Md Juco).

Turning Point
Despite Allegany's advances in the early goings of the second half, the Fighting Owls would lead by 10 with 5:33 left in the contest. The balance of power would shift to the Trojans from there, as they went on to score 25 of the game's final 35 points. Harford had their chances down the stretch, but made just three of their final 11 attempts compared to Allegany's 9-for-13 clip from the floor.
