How it Happened
Nico Verdu had a standout performance for the Fighting Owls, claiming a comeback win in No. 3 doubles alongside partner Finlay Rowan, and a lopsided victory at the No. 6 singles spot.
Thomas Norwood and Adam Larsen nearly took another point off ABAC in No. 1 doubles. The two teams were tied 6-6 until ABAC broke Harford's serve and claimed an 8-6 win from there. Norwood and Larsen also fell just short in No. 1 and No. 3 singles action respectively.
The longest match of the day came from No. 5 singles action, where Finlay Rowan battled ABAC No. 5 Gabriel Chaves De Sa. De Sa dominated the first set, only to see Rowan battle back and win the second, 6-4. Finlay fought hard in the third set tiebreaker, but ran out of gas and fell 10-7.
