Bel Air, Md. – It took nearly two months to complete, but Harford finally picked up their long awaited victory over Mercer County, 19-6, Friday afternoon at the Harford Sports Complex.

Both teams relied on the long ball to score, as the Vikings and Fighting Owls combined for six home runs.
Spencer Harbert led the way with two solo shots.
Jake Wyandt was finally able to claim his first home run of the year, while
Reyce Curnane tallied his fifth long ball of 2019 in the third.
Mercer County was unable to avoid being mercy ruled by Harford, as reliever
Ethan Kiple (1.0 IP, 0 ER) retired the Vikings in the top of the fifth after working himself out of a jam.
Keith Parks (2.0 IP, 5 ER) earned the win in relief, while
Matt Gorman (2 IP, 1 ER) was handed a no decision for his work back in February.
Harford jumps to 30-5 after the win, while Mercer County falls to 22-8.
