Pfaff led the Harford defense with 98 digs across four matches, while Leslie tallied a career high 17 kills against Beaver County and finished with 28 for the tournament. Weyer posted the best all-around showing for the weekend, earning 69 assists, 39 digs, 12 kills and 10 aces.

How it Happened
Game 1 – Harcum (25-23, 18-25, 22-25, 25-18, 15-11)
Harford took on the Bears in what proved to be the best match of the tournament. After the Fighting Owls took the opening set, Harcum claimed the next two for a 2-1 lead.

With their backs against the wall, Harford pushed through and utilized a late scoring run to earn the win in set four. The Fighting Owls carried that momentum into the deciding frame and won 15-11, avenging its straight set loss to Harcum from their season opener.

Game 2 – Christendom (25-20, 25-17, 25-16)
The Fighting Owls were forced to battle the Crusaders after their five set duel with Harcum.

Christendom stole a few points from each set to make it close, but Harford pushed through the fatigue and earned the sweep.

Game 3 – Beaver County (25-10, 25-9, 25-11)
Freshman Alex Leslie torched a lifeless Beaver County team for 17 kills, leading Harford to their second straight set victory of the tournament.

Leslie combined with Maria Lopez for seven of Harford's nine aces, while Gabby Pfaff (13 digs) and Rebecca Moen (eight digs) shored up the defensive end.

Game 4 – Harcum (25-19, 25-23, 25-16)
Harcum managed to propel themselves into the tournament finals alongside Harford after avoiding an upset against Christendom.

The Bears went blow for blow with the Fighting Owls in the opening two sets, but Harford edged them out on both occasions to take a 2-0 lead for the match. The ladies in blue put away set three with an early surge of points, then wore down the defending tournament champs to claim the win.
