FREDERICK, Md. – A gutsy short-handed Harford side came up a tad short on Wednesday, falling on the road to the Frederick Cougars, 98-84.
A 16-2 run by the Cougars proved to be the difference in the mid-week affair. Harford pulled within 10 points with just under four minutes, but the deficit proved too much to overcome.
Sophomore's
Christian Sweazie and
Ethan Sommer helped get the Fighting Owls within striking distance, as each player finished with 20 points.
Harford dips to 6-18 (2-8 MD JUCO).
