BEL AIR, Md. - Harford won its ninth consecutive game on Thursday, downing the Frederick Cougars in a non-conference bout in straight sets.
Frederick fought hard in all three sets, but the women in blue held tough to earn the sweep. They took 12 straight points to end the first set (25-15), four consecutive to earn the second (25-15), and then battled through a back-and-forth third set to win 25-20.
Katie Keech led all players with 11 kills, while
Karissa Kozlowski stepped and earned a career high 20 assists. On defense,
Martina Croce and
Benedetta Canfora combined for 25 digs.
Harford is now 12-2 with after the victory.
