PHILADELPHIA, Pa. - Harford earned its second consecutive win on the road Thursday evening, taking down the Community College of Philadelphia (CCP) via 86-73 scoreline.
Five Fighting Owls finished the game with at least 12 points.
Ricardo Ross topped everyone with 17 points while
Chandler Johnson ended with 13 points and six assists.
Malik Carson came off the pine and dropped the first double-double of his collegiate career, pairing 13 points with 10 rebounds. Rounding out the double-digit scorers were
Keyshawn Johnson (13 points) and
Kenny Moore (12 points).
Harford sits at 2-2 on the year after the victory.
Turning Point
The Fighting Owls outscored CCP 47-29 in the second half. Harford trailed by six at the 14:05 mark, but managed to turn things around and tie the game 60-60 at the 10 minute mark. Three minute later and the men in blue had a 10 point lead which they would hold on to for the remainder of the contest.
