Turning Point
Frederick pulled within three points of the lead with just over a minute left in the second half. Much like they had all game, the Fighting Owls put the ball into the hands of
Ricardo Ross for a bucket. The frosh paid them back for it with a strong finish in the paint to make it 65-60.
A quick layup by Frederick put the lead back down to three, but Ross grabbed the rock off the inbound and flushed home a thunderous dunk with 11 seconds to go. A pair of missed three-point attempts by the Cougars gave way to the final whistle sounding with the Fighting Owls on top.
