BEL AIR, Md. - Harford's defense gave up a season high 94 points, as the Fighting Owls subsequently fell 94-89 to Delaware Tech on day two of the Harford Hoops Classic.
The Fighting Owls saw big time offense performances go to waste in the loss, including a season high 17 points from
Kenny Moore.
Ricardo Ross led the team with 24 points on the night.
Harford heads into the winter break with a 7-5 record.
Turning Point
A blunder by the officiating crew allowed a four-man Delaware Tech side to illegally substitute a fifth player onto the floor long after the ball was inbounded by the Fighting Owls. After a quick meeting, officials sided with Delaware Tech and refused to award Harford a pair of technical foul free throws and possession of the ball with 1:14 left in the first half.
